The brand engineer’s Canadian know-how, grit and heritage into every fiber, stitch and zipper. They stand by the impeccable tailoring, ethically sourced materials and premium hardware.
Moose Knuckles’ relationship with Solink began in 2022 as the company was continuing to expand its business internationally. As they aimed to reach more countries, they needed a reliable security system that could grow with them, operate in multiple markets, and keep their operations safely connected. As a luxury brand, they also needed to worry about the security of their product in store, plus customer and staff safety. Solink was referred to them by another customer and was immediately identified as being able to meet these needs.
Fixing too many platforms, vendors and logins
It was in a search for a one-pane-of-glass system in regards to their security that Moose Knuckles found their way to Solink. With vast expansion internationally and rapid growth on the horizon, the idea of continuing to have to settle for different security vendors, different applications and many different logins was not an option anymore.
Having stitched together many different security solutions over the years, it was time that they stopped the difficult processes and find some simplicity. It was the ease of a digital platform, the want for a fully remote system that could be accessed from a phone, laptop or iPad and a partner who could meet these diverse needs that was crucial for Moose Knuckles to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Taking advantage of a better alarm system
Moose Knuckles was in need of a better alarm system to address several critical concerns. If a break in was to occur or anything that may cause the alarm to trip inside a store after hours, it was imperative that they be able to understand as quickly as possible what was happening in as close to real-time as possible. While most traditional alarm systems can let you know something is happening in general, the alarm itself does not usually know what that something might be. This is how a company can suffer from false alarm fines and can lack monitoring prowess over their product.
Having a better system for clipping and sharing security footage
Moose Knuckles faced significant hardships when it came to clipping and sharing security footage if an incident had occurred within one of their stores. Their previous systems were cumbersome and time inefficient, often requiring extensive manual effort to extract and download video clips. The process was time-consuming and prone to errors, leading to delays in accessing crucial footage. Additionally, the large file sizes made sharing clips with team members or law enforcement challenging, resulting in further complications during investigations. This inefficiency not only hindered their ability to respond promptly to incidents but also created frustration among staff who had to navigate the complex and unreliable system.
Putting in place a cloud-based video management system
Solink provided Moose Knuckles with a cloud-based video management system that unified all their locations globally into a single platform. This eliminated the need for multiple vendors and multiple logins, allowing managers to seamlessly access live and archived footage from any device within the company. The centralized platform allowed for near real-time access to video feeds from all their locations, enhancing their ability to monitor and respond to incidents.
Video alarm monitoring
Solink helped Moose Knuckles implement video alarm monitoring, this upgrade was crucial for the company as their existing alarm systems were inconsistent and often resulted in false alarms or delayed responses. With Solink’s video alarm monitoring, every alert is accompanied by video footage, allowing for immediate verification of incidents and reducing unnecessary emergency responses.
Moose Knuckles benefits now from having Solink employees actively respond to and view video footage during security events. When an alarm is triggered, there is immediate accessing of the live video feed associated with the alert. This allows them to quickly assess the situation, distinguishing between false alarms and genuine security threats. By having trained professionals monitor these alerts, they are ensuring a prompt and informed response, enhancing overall security.
Clipping and sharing made easy
Implementing Solink’s user-friendly platform has made clipping and sharing video footage remarkably easier for Moose Knuckles. They can swiftly clip relevant video segments and share them with just a few clicks. This streamlined process ensures that crucial footage is promptly available for internal reviews, training, and investigations. The ability to easily access and share video clips has enhanced collaboration among team members and improved the company’s overall response to security incidents.
