Solink Announces a Wave of New AI-Powered Features to Transform Security and Investigations
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – OTTAWA, ON, June 18, 2025 – Solink®, a leader in cloud-based video security and analytics, today announced a powerful new wave of AI-driven features that transform how businesses detect threats, surface insights, and drive smarter decisions using video.
Solink is announcing product updates that accelerate our vision-enabled operations strategy — a future where every camera is a sensor, and where every real-world business insight is surfaced and actioned. Solink is on a mission to unlock the massive potential sitting idle in most security systems, working closely with customers to drive innovation that delivers real outcomes and addresses meaningful business challenges.
“We’re building with and for our customers — using AI to solve real challenges they face every day,” said Chris Wolski, VP of Product Marketing and Market Strategy at Solink. “These updates are designed to help teams act faster, reduce risk, and get more value from video across every part of the business.”
Solink’s new features provide real-time intelligence that allows customers to take action before threats escalate. The updates include powerful AI capabilities and deeper integrations designed to unlock more value from existing camera systems. Today Solink is announcing:
Video Search: Instantly search through hours of video using natural language — without installing new cameras. Find incidents like “red pick-up truck at drive-thru”.
Event Spot Check: Automatically review and summarize video footage to flag unusual or noteworthy activity, helping teams quickly focus on what matters and spend less time scrubbing through video manually.
VerifEye: Use AI to filter out false alarms and highlight verified security events across sites — helping security operations centers (SOCs) respond to real threats faster and reduce alarm fatigue.
Scheduled Broadcast: Play pre-set audio messages over speakers at scheduled times to deter after-hours intrusions and trespassing — no manual intervention required.
Climate Monitoring (WSPER): Integrates video with WSPER environmental sensors to detect climate issues (like smoke, chemicals, or air quality changes) in real time — enabling earlier intervention and root-cause visibility.
Cloud Archive: Provides secure, searchable, long-term video storage in the cloud — offering instant access to retained footage without the cost or hassle of traditional systems.
The new product capabilities reflect Solink’s continued investment in cross-functional value creation. Built on the foundation laid out earlier this year at Solink Secure Summit, these updates strengthen Solink’s ability to serve not only loss prevention and physical security teams, but also operations, IT, compliance, HR, and marketing — all from a single, connected platform.
The updates will be shown during Solink’s Summer Product Launch webcast taking place today, June 18, at 11:00 a.m. ET. Register here.
