If you tuned into the Solink Summer Product Webcast, one of the main things we talked about was the need to reduce digital noise in video security and focus operators on events that matter.

A noise can be many things…hours of irrelevant security video, false alarms, police dispatch requests, etc. Whatever the type of noise, the end result is the same: Too many alerts, not enough people to handle response, and unnecessary stress affecting operators.

That’s why this month’s updates are about reducing noise and sharpening focus:

  • Event Spot Check: Save time with an AI chatbot that watches video on your behalf and assesses the severity of a situation.
  • VerifEye: Modify motion sensors in real-time and remotely to refine monitoring zones and reduce causes of false alarm noise.
  • Scheduled Broadcast: Automated deterrence to safeguard your perimeter with repeated safety/operational announcements. Configure once and done.
  • New integrations with Zoho and Avigilon to boost visibility.

Event Spot Check: Let AI handle the first watch

In Solink, security teams can create reports that consolidate important events into one place—but it still takes a human to open the video and scan for incidents.

Now? Sidekick does that part for you.

With Event Spot Check, Sidekick scans saved Reports and flags video clips that match a certain criteria. It prioritizes events with higher confidence scores so your team can zero in on what matters, fast.
No more flipping through tabs or staring at a backlog of alerts. You tell the system what you’re looking for, and it does the first pass.

Use it to:

  • Automatically triage report-based video
  • Cut down on time-to-review
  • Prioritize footage based on severity

VerifEye: Reduce false alarms in real-time

VerifEye continues to appear in security operations centers nationwide because of its simplicity and ability to eliminate false alarms with AI threat detection.

In short: VerifEye turns any CCTV camera into a virtual security guard, filtering out common nuisances from real threats, faster and across more sites simultaneously than a human ever could.

Now, those using VerifEye can reconfigure an armed motion zone in real-time during playback. This means if a certain zone was configured incorrectly and is causing our AI to look elsewhere, an operator can address the issue during review and redraw the zone without leaving their review panel.
A surveillance camera interface displays video playback with an orange circle highlighting motion zone editing and the text "Edit motion zones during playback.
This is another layer to further prevent false alarms, use it to:

  • Cut down on noisy false positives
  • Refine zones based on real-world footage
  • Let authorized people work without setting off alarms

Scheduled Broadcast: Automate deterrence

False alarms slow everything down—and law enforcement doesn’t have time to waste. With stretched resources and growing backlogs, every unnecessary dispatch makes it harder to respond to real threats.

The better solution? Prevent the problem entirely.

Scheduled Broadcast delivers pre-recorded audio warnings on a loop, serving as a simple, automated deterrent. It reduces the chance of incidents and filters out the kind of noise that clogs emergency response.
A speaker emits an audio message stating, "This is a secure monitored area. All actions are under live surveillance at all times," with soundwave graphics in the background.
Use it to:

  • Deter loitering and encampments
  • Signal active monitoring to prevent trespassing
  • Reinforce safety or closing procedures automatically

It joins tools like talk-down and strobes to strengthen perimeter protection—without adding more manual work.

NEW Integrations: More video context

Solink supports over 300 integrations—designed to bring video context into systems that usually operate blind.

Two recent additions:

Zoho Inventory

Manage warehouse operations with eyes on the floor. Our Zoho integration connects video footage to inventory workflows, so teams can verify packing, resolve return claims, and reduce fulfillment mistakes faster.

Avigilon Alta

Unify access events and video in one place. Our new integration with Alta Access Control pulls badge data into Solink, giving teams full visibility without jumping between platforms.

That’s a wrap

Each update is a step toward quieter, faster, more proactive security. AI and automation handle the noise. Operators handle what matters.
