Product Updates

We want to make sure your business has the power to showcase and track important data and insights with Solink. That’s why we are excited to announce some new improvements to our widgets and video alarm events in this month’s product update.

Real-Time Report Widgets

We know that many businesses want to narrow in on metrics from a smaller time frame than the last day, week or month. Now with real-time widgets, you can create a widget that allows you to see data created within the last hour (a rolling 60 minute timeframe updated by the minute).

Real-time widgets can be an especially helpful tool for:

  • Tracking and displaying drive-thru speed of service in real-time. For example, you could display the real-time widget on a screen to motivate employees as they serve customers in your drive-thru.
  • Tracking sales transactions (such as items sold, revenue, etc.) over the last hour.

Real-time widgets can also compare data from the previous day or week, so you can measure if performance for the specified metric has improved since the day or week before. Each data point in this widget displays average drive-thru service time (in seconds) over the course of the last hour. This widget also allows you to compare data with the previous day.

Alarm Events

Video Alarms users can now track and filter alarm events from the Events page in Video Discovery. Simply select the Alarms tab located near the top of the Events page to display alarm events on the page:

With this update to alarm events, you can:

  • Create reports from your alarm events.
  • Get an overview of your opened and closed alarms via daily and/or weekly email notifications.
  • Create widgets to track opened and closed alarms.

Help Center Access

As we continue to improve our user interface, we’ve made our Help Center more accessible from the Video Discovery platform.

Select your username in the top-right corner of the Video Discovery user interface to open a dropdown menu. From here, you can navigate straight to our Help Center and get access to a full library of articles and videos to help answer questions you may have while using Solink.

SOC 2
