Today, we’re introducing Solink AI Agents—digital teammates that take on the high-volume monitoring and data analysis that your team doesn’t have time for, so they can focus on their highest value work and drive greater business impact.

Built on Solink’s unique video-plus-data architecture and domain-tuned agentic framework, these agents can reason across space and time to understand what’s happening in your business, flag critical risks and escalate them to your team in real-time.

And like everything with Solink, they are plug-and-play with the cameras, access control, POS and other systems you already have.

Read on to see how they work and how they can be used to elevate your team’s productivity and impact.

The problem: Rising noise and demands, limited capacity

Physical security, loss prevention, and operations leaders are being asked to do more than ever—without the luxury of adding more people, more budget, or more time.

Risk is getting harder to manage. Threat environments keep evolving—from organized crime and fraud to newer “phygital” challenges like BOPIS/BORIS and mixed-channel returns.

At the same time, operations are getting more complex: physical + digital, security + cyber, more systems, more data, more alerts.

And the reality is that humans can’t watch everything–and they certainly can’t process everything they’re taking in. Fatigue sets in, coverage gaps widen, false alarms get prioritized and real threats pass us by.

That’s the moment we’re in—and it’s why we built Solink AI Agents.

The solution: AI Agents that work like teammates

A lot of “AI Agents” in the market today behave like tools: detect, flag, notify—or automate a single step. In fact, we’ve been offering tools like this for sometime now, with VerifEye, Spot Check and Vision Analytics. These tools can be incredibly helpful, but they tend to require a human to initiate the work, connect the dots, and drive a response.

Solink AI Agents are different. Think of them less like features or tools and more like digital teammates that can use the same tools you can, but in some cases–where volume and scale are high–they can use them better.

Introducing Solink AI Agents: digital teammates that free your people to do their best work

What are Solink AI Agents?

Solink AI Agents are digital teammates that free up humans for higher-value work. They can watch the hours of video your staff doesn’t have time for, find anomalies hidden in layers of data, and respond autonomously—in line with your rules.

Like humans, these agents can reason across space and time to understand evolving risk. They recognize when a sequence of behaviors turns into a critical threat, escalating the moments that matter to your team in real-time. For example, they understand that a person walking on the sidewalk is low risk, but that same person lingering in a dark corner for two minutes is a flag. They connect these dots in real-time—seeing the intent behind the movement—to trigger deterrents like sirens only when a threat is verified.

Solink AI Agent examples

There are a wide variety of AI Agents that can be built with Solink, using our templates or working from scratch.

Here are some examples of Solink AI Agents that are trained for multiple use cases:

  • Overnight Guard Agent: A virtual security guard that protects your sites after hours. It’s trained on real incident footage to recognize trespassing, vandalism, and theft—triggering deterrents like strobes or sirens the moment a threat is verified and escalating critical issues to a human.
  • Loss Prevention Agent: An always-on analyst that integrates with your POS to catch shrink where it starts. It reviews 100% of your transactions to flag “sweethearting,” discount abuse, and fraudulent returns.

You can also build agents that are on a very specific use case, like this one:

  • Store Readiness Agent: An occupational AI that monitors how prepared your store is to receive customers. It looks exclusively at situations which can impact guest experiences, from operating hours, to cleanliness, to brand standards around displays and promotions.

How it works

Built on the Solink Agent Framework, a Solink AI Agent is assigned a specific job, given access to defined data sources (e.g. cameras, POS app, doorbell alerts, etc.), and provided with parameters to work within. It then carries out tasks to do its job.

In the Solink UI, setting one up is as easy as:

  1. Naming your agent and defining its role.
  2. Selecting “Skills” (like loitering detection or void monitoring) and providing context.
  3. Setting a schedule and choosing your monitoring areas.
  4. Tuning the “Tolerance Meter” to decide exactly how sensitive you want the agent to be. This is how you control the “noise”.

Solink AI Agents are “turnkey,” meaning they deploy in minutes on your existing hardware and infrastructure.

The benefits: From passive monitoring to active intelligence

While the specific impact of a Solink AI Agent depends on its unique role and domain, all our digital teammates deliver three core advantages:

  • Massive time savings: Your people will spend far less time on mind-numbing tasks like watching 12 screens and as many data feeds for hours on end. Agents take on high-volume monitoring, analysis, and response work so your team can stay focused on the decisions and interventions that matter most.
  • Real-time deterrence and faster response: These agents don’t just record incidents–they help prevent them. By understanding when a behavior has escalated into a threat, they can autonomously trigger deterrents like audio broadcasts or sirens to stop an intrusion before it happens.
  • Improved situational awareness and decision making: By connecting the dots that humans miss and flagging the events and patterns that matter most, your team will spend more time on the highest-impact decisions, armed with the information they need to make the right call.

What makes Solink AI Agents especially powerful

Solink AI Agents are the culmination of years of product and engineering work, and some important foundational decisions that make agentic AI practical in the real world of multi-site security and operations.

Three capabilities set Solink AI Agents apart:

  1. They reason across space and time: Many AI Agents can detect a single moment, like a person or vehicle in a zone. Solink AI Agents understand the story of an event as it unfolds across space and time. They don’t just see a person; they see a sequence—a person approaching after hours, moving to an unlit area, and then crouching by a window. By reasoning through these compounding behaviors, the Agent understands the increasing risk profile and escalates the right moments before they turn into incidents.
  2. They deploy fast on the hardware and systems you already have: like everything with Solink, these Agents are plug-and-play with the cameras, access control, POS and other systems you already have–so you can leverage the investments you’ve already made, and so you can go live in minutes.
  3. They keep getting better for your business:  Solink AI Agents are built to improve through tuning and feedback, adapting to your environment, workflows, and risk patterns over time.

Under the hood, these capabilities are powered by Solink’s unique video-plus-data architecture, a domain-specific agentic framework with purpose-built skills, and a flexible VLM approach that lets us run modern models efficiently at the edge, and adopt the best model for the job.

We can’t wait to see what you’ll accomplish

We couldn’t be more excited to get this Agentic infrastructure out into the wild, to see what leaders like you do with these new capabilities, and to continue to learn and grow these capabilities with you.
