What is our vision for vision?

That was the driving theme behind Solink Secure Summit 2025, hosted right in the center of sunny San Diego (sorry to our Canadian teammates stuck in winter).

We broke down our vision for camera vision—how we’re turning your run-of-the-mill security cameras from passive recorders into intelligent sensors that interpret and act on visual data.

This thinking drives the Solink strategy and roadmap, shaping how we:

  • Cut through the noise by turning millions of data points (video, POS, access controls, etc.) into clear, actionable insights.
  • Add context, reasoning, and urgency so emergency response knows when & how to engage.
  • Automate the repetitive stuff so you can focus on what matters.
Here’s a quick recap of the themes we covered at Secure Summit 2025 and a look into what’s next for Solink.

Free up humans for the big decisions

Let’s talk about the big one: Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Did you know that less than 0.1% of camera footage actually gets reviewed? Yet, we’re recording millions of hours of video footage filled with rich insights and information about your day-to-day operations.

If only you could somehow watch millions of hours at once, right?

No one enjoys digging through hours of footage or sifting through endless alerts. It’s tedious, time-consuming, and frankly, a waste of human brainpower.

Solink AI is built to cut through the noise—so you don’t have to. It learns what is important to your business, whether that’s tracking theft, improving workplace safety, or keeping shelves well-stocked. It pinpoints the exact moments that matter (the ones that were otherwise buried in a sea of footage) and delivers them instantly—using your existing camera setup.

Solink customers already run over 250,000 AI-powered Spot Checks a month since launch in October of 2024.

At Secure Summit 2025, we unveiled the next evolution of Solink AI: sharper noise reduction, faster event detection, and smarter automation to take tedious work off your plate. Because your time should be spent making decisions, not watching hours of video.

Our AI roadmap

  • Smarter video search that pinpoints key moments based on events, transactions, or triggers.
  • AI-powered tracking to analyze movement patterns, like a vehicle’s journey through a drive-thru.
  • More automation to handle repetitive tasks and flag only the moments that need human review.
  • Simple, more intuitive data visuals that tell a clearer story (without the complexity).

Make video alarms the standard

If a business has Solink Video Alarms, there’s a 1 in 5 chance an intruder will be caught before they can do serious damage.

Why? Because every alarm is backed by video verification. Real threats get escalated fast—with context that law enforcement can act on—leading to an average response time of under 9 minutes.

But the goal isn’t to catch more bad guys. The goal is to deter them before they even get that far. Solink is taking Video Alarms to the next level—tightening the connection with law enforcement, filtering out the noise, and making real threats impossible to miss.

Our alarms roadmap

  • Smarter AI monitoring to detect suspicious people and vehicles earlier—even before they reach your doors.
  • Stronger deterrence with automated talkdown and other actions as part of a step-by-step workflow.
  • SOC-as-a-service—turnkey software that gets any security operations center up and running in under 30 minutes.
  • Around-the-clock AI-powered remote monitoring, so that one single guard can now cover 150+ sites at once—without extra hardware.

Bring in more data—and make it easier to use

In 2024, Solink integrated with nearly 50 new tools—from niche POS systems to labor software, inventory management, panic alerting, access control, smart safes, and more (closing in on 350 integrations in total).

That means 50 more tools can now enrich their data with video footage captured through Solink for extra visibility and context.

But more data shouldn’t mean more noise. That’s why Secure Summit 2025 was focused on connecting to more systems while making data simpler to access and use.

Our data roadmap

  • Built-in data analysis that surfaces personalized information you need to know (without having to ask for it).
  • Chat-based reporting that replaces manual report-building—a built-in assistant that will create custom reports based on prompts you provide.
  • Deeper data options—like drilldown and item-level reporting—presented in a scannable, digestible format.
  • Expanding data exchange with Solink is a key focus for 2025—from our public API, which launched last year to bring data in, to new ways of pushing video data into the systems you rely on.

Listen more to learn more

Our roadmap shouldn’t be a surprise.

Why? Because we build based on what you—our customers actually need.

Self-serve automation, drilldown data, stronger deterrence—these aren’t just ideas we came up with in a vacuum. They’re the direct result of customer feedback, and we’ve acted on them to refine both existing and new workflows.

This year, we introduced the Executive Customer Council and hosted hands-on customer workshops at Solink Summit. Instead of just presenting what’s next, we opened the floor to hear firsthand what’s working, what’s not, and what needs to happen next.

Expect us to keep listening—and acting.

Looking ahead

Solink Secure Summit 2025 was about where we’re headed and how we’re making security and operations more effective—without making it more complicated.

  • AI should do the heavy lifting, so teams focus on what actually matters
  • Alarms should prevent problems, not create false ones
  • Data should be easy to find, not buried in dashboards.
That’s what we’re building toward—one step at a time. A flexible, cloud-based security & analytics platform that works with what you already have—without expensive overhauls or clunky systems.

We appreciate everyone who joined us at S2—your insights and challenges shape where we go next, and almost the entirety of our product roadmap is built off feedback that we heard directly from our customers.

If you’re looking to push your security further, we’d love to help. Because security isn’t just about keeping up. It’s about staying ahead.

Now onto the next sunny destination. Next year, Hawaii (A humble request to our VP of Marketing)?
