Technology agnostic
Technology agnostic is a business strategy of aiming to be interoperable with as many other hardware and software systems, released by any other company, as possible so that customers do not feel locked into one vendor.
What is technology agnostic?
Technology agnostic is a choice made by some companies, including Solink. The belief is that being technology agnostic leads to a better and more cost-effective solution for customers.
Technology agnostic is providing a service that is compatible and/or interoperable with the hardware and software put out by other companies.
In the case of video surveillance companies, many lock in customers with big initial expenses in the form of proprietary security cameras and long contracts. However, Solink believes it is a better customer experience to be compatible with as many security cameras, POS, etc. as possible.
In fact, Solink is compatible with most security cameras available on the market.

Why is technology agnostic important?
Technology agnostic is important for many reasons:
- It provides a more efficient onboarding experience because existing security infrastructure can be used.
- It allows for more integration partners.
- Users are free to add the cameras they want when more are needed.
- Cameras purchased while a Solink customer can be used long into the future, even if the no-term contract is canceled.
