Launching User Roles to improve user management within Solink

We’ve heard from clients that they wanted flexibility for giving their team access to their Solink account.

Today we’re excited to announce the release of User Roles – one of our most requested features!

User Roles allows admins to control permissions at a granular level and it’s available to all Solink customers now. Explore what we have in store for you with the new User Roles feature.

User Roles allow for a common set of feature permissions to be applied across multiple users in a scalable way. This enables more people in your organization to use Solink while maintaining proper access control to locations and functionality.

User Roles can be found under the Settings area of Video Discovery. You can create new roles to organize users in any way that works best for your team:

You can then assign specific feature permissions to match the use cases for each user role and subsequently, assign users to each role.

User permissions no longer need to be managed individually. This enhancement will allow you to scale your user base and broaden the use cases your team can address with the Solink platform.

Moving forward, we will continue to build on these capabilities to further evolve the platform. As exciting as this release is, we have a number of enhancements and innovations on our 2021 roadmap that we can’t wait to share with you.
